Opens the door to a whole new world of unique thought processes, enables to tap vast reservoir of mental forces; provides a frame of mind to bring out the magic within for a dynamic creative touch; turns fantasy to reality and helps solve tough problems. This book is programmed to give the reader a frame of mind, thus turning him on to creativity.

The first 12 chapters outline various ideas to stimulate interest - unfreeze the personality and unfold a new dimension. The remaining eight take him towards serious creativity, teamwork and handling tough projects - a process of re-folding the personality for structuring an innovation. The authors have created multi-dimensional works in all areas of human endeavor and become a versatile couple by writing this book. Reading it again and again has given them a creative vision of life within and beyond the universe - as presented by them in their 6 unique works of fiction, non-fiction and poems. The Creative Forces Within While Einstein, Stephen Hawking, Bose, Raman, Chandrashekhar, are scientists who solved imaginative-intellectual problems, Robin, Alan, Parker Smith, are fiction characters, but face real-time problems which they solve just as real-life scientists.

The pseudo-scientific problems were conjectured by the real scientists within the realms of their imagination although these problems did not pose threat to the existence of the world around - imaginative problems related to cosmos attempted and solved by real people. Whereas the real problems that the fiction characters attempt to solve can be a matter of life and death.

Magic Within

Creative writing, creation, gives a tingling joy, brings out all the magic that's within - surfs out a feeling otherwise experienced rarely. Filling heart, mind, and soul with enthusiasm, excitement, thrill, energy, vigor. Creativity is a state of everlasting joy, vision, and service to all. And for elementary creations one doesn't need the brains of a genius, or of a professional creator. It could simply be a matter of change in attitudes, a wandering mind, an innocent curiosity. A Jack of all trades may turn out to be a master of interdisciplinary ideas - a vital factor in creativity for all trades. Why do tough men face tough problems? Because they choose to do so? Most often, it is a pleasure to work on a tough problem if it is a chosen one - the unexpected ones drive men, even tough ones, to the wall. The worst problems are those that affect people personally, and unexpectedly. Like a failure fuse, a failure arresting device could also be incorporated while attempting to solve tough problems so that the failure is arrested and the best part of the solution is protected, retrieved. What type of failure fuse, failure arresting device, could be incorporated by a creative writer during the process of creation, in his prose or poetry; by an artist in his painting, composition; researcher, engineer, and other professionals in their creative work? It all depends upon the precise nature of work, objectives, and the type of composition. Whether it consists of individual blocks, interconnectable in series, parallel combination for like n old fashioned necklace with all the beads strung in tandem. The failure of the latter, at any point, scatters all the beads. To arrest the scattering of the beads a knot is provided after each so that only one bead is lost in case of failure. That is to say, the structure of the work has to be planned by incorporating a failure fuse and a failure arresting facility. while lecturing to a gathering of participants of a course on creativity, the author circulated a few typed sheets with the instruction for a comment. The same typed sheets were circulatedto a gathering of experts on another occasion, with the same instruction. While the former (the novice participants) pointed out all kinds of flaws in the material, the latter concentrated on the merits only.

Invariably, one takes on a profession, adopts it, and hangs on to it for a long time, sometimes one's entire life. What decides this choice? And many times, it may be a wrong choice! But sooner or later the talent in him finds expression, it slows from his heart mind and soul. In many people, however, it remains untapped. Why? In some, this potential awaits courage, while in others, an opportunity. But it needs an open mind to utilize the opportunity; just a little courage to give a new thing a try. Should fear of failure prevent one from trying? Failure in exploring something is not really a failure. One meets people who are good at one thing, but have adopted another profession, often unsuccessfully. The author once came across a music composer who received an order from a singer. He composed, but all the tunes were rejected. That amounted to a aste of several days' efforts. The composer then wrote lyrics but never found a singer who liked them. He then wrote a screenplay for a love-story. But never found a producer. Yet, he never gave up. He thought, maybe his talents lie elsewhere. So he produced and directed a film incorporating everything he had done. As a producer he had no difficulty in finding singers, actors, directors, the lot. No longer is he a struggling composer, but a genius producer of hit films. His primitive model - the point of commencement - was entirely different from the final area of his activity - the 'well' of his hidden talents, that ultimately brought him name, fame, and wealth.

Creative Spell

After a spell of time, when we look back at our creative work, the flaws stick out like
cactus thorns. Why? The work done at the first instance makes us wonder, feel embarrassed, at the second instance. This is true to all creative activities. The First Knock If the hidden desire of youth is to pick and choose such ideas and knowledge which can provide concepts for solving tough problems without the trouble of going through all the disciplines of knowledge, and to find at one place, the nectar of thoughts turned into creativeness - the honey of wisdom - then, you'll find it by adding a new dimension to your personality - a dimension of creativity, toughness. It's not that one just wants to solve a problem, he wants to create a new life, a life of high performance. He wants to see everything at one place, the dream of a beginner and a professional alike, to be a creative man. So be it. Be a scholar of merit by the short-cut method. Knit together the concepts to make a magic garland of vision, confidence, to be a professional researcher - a creator, like he always wanted to be. Assimilate, slowly, but surely. Discuss each idea with friends - knowledge grows by sharing. It has taken experts many years to research - dive, into the vast oceans of literature, science, psychology, to pick out a handful of granules, and lose them again and again before reaching the shore. Such failures are creative, give a kind of intelligence to the one who dives; only the diver sees the granules of creativity.

1. When an intelligent person faces a tough situation in his life he can analyze and overcome the difficulties by suitably training himself as he lives through the situation.

2. When opportunity knocks, analysis, change in aptitudes, interests and training, are required to reap the maximum benefit from the opportunity.

3. All important and tough problems have to be examined from a long-term perspective, and creativity is best seen in a light-hearted, comfortable, and friendly environment. Here again, man must change as he progresses to create, to be a part of his creation.

4. No matter how important the task one engages in, no matter how much responsibility he shoulders to serve humanity, he must acquire high-performance-living to be able to live his own life to its fulfillment - to fulfill his own destiny, and to create and recreate himself.

5. Through creativity one could aim at the total reformation - a new vision.

Any problem - trivial or tough, personal or professional - has got to be resolved satisfactorily, else it continues to rankle, and impedes progress of other endeavors. At times, one fails to achieve what one sets out to mainly because the answer to success lies outside the area of one's expertise. The missing link can often be provided by inter disciplinary ideas. The author has had ample opportunity to acquire expertise in varied disciplines, spending sufficient time in making in-depth studies. This has helped abstract and knit together the elements useful in bringing out the creative forces that exist within every individual's geometry. Knowledge of these elements generates creative intelligence and helps in constructive, creative ways to solve problems.

A creative touch brings out the genius within, it helps in dealing skillfully with the task at hand. And a job well done gives satisfaction, enhances earnings, and promises a future. A little inventiveness makes all the difference to the quality of output and performance. The very act of giving a creative touch can be made a hobby - it can be an attitude, resulting in thrill, and excitement. The technique of inventiveness is acquired in a short time, but it stays for a lifetime. Of course, some activities take a little longer than others. For example, when the author sat down to write poetry, it took him many months before he could get the rhythm, the vocabulary. But once the creative forces unite the flow is unstoppable: several poems, lyrics, prose poetry, narrative poetry are written. Thus, the building up of creative forces is the first step in any undertaking. And again, a set of new creative forces are to be built for tackling the new geometry of the problem.

Having successfully resolved many tough scientific problems, one may think, writing a work of fiction is trivial. Trivial, it isn't. The real use of mustering up creative forces is when a tough problem stares at us in the face unexpectedly, threatens our existence; or when we want to climb just the next rung of the ladder towards a more comfortable life.

The objective of this text is to inspire, take the reader through an experience, reel the creative forces within, spin his frame of mind and link it with those of real and fictional characters - their ways and styles, problems and solutions. Problems are tough, and the methods to solve them are usually simple, especially in retrospect. This book is a bottle of juice, the nectar of knowledge, vision - when one would look forward to the unexplored.
